Week 3 of 12: Things that rise, float, or fly

Using ubiquitous helium-filled balloons purchased from a party supply store, Caitlind & Wayne created KITES FOR STILL NIGHTS by fashioning translucent fabric into simple billowing flags, and flying the device above the Inglewood Wetlands (with the help of Clare m. Duckett). The artwork remained installed in their yard for the remainder of the weekend, a beacon of transforming domestic space.
